Course Outline:
WEEK 1 - Prayer: Learn how to prepare for Bible Study with prayer. | WEEK 2 - Diagramming: Learn how to discover the Biblical outline and structure. | WEEK 3 - Historical Background: Avoid "rabbit trails" and determine relevant historical information for your Biblical studies. | WEEK 4 - Theology: Learn to identify the theological themes and emphasis as you study the passage. | WEEK 5 - Outlining: Refine and prepare your outline for the audience. | WEEK 6 - Cross Referencing: Learn to determine the key passages related to your passage of study. | WEEK 7 & 8 - Word Studies: Explore methods for clarity from the text with Hebrew and Greek word studies. | WEEK 9 - Cross Checking: Using commentaries and critical resources to check your work and solve problems | WEEK 10 - Principlizing the Text for the Purpose of Application | WEEK 11 - Outlining the Text / Homiletics | WEEK 12 - Application | WEEK 13 - Communication: Illustration | WEEK 14 - Communication: Purpose/Proposition | WEEK 15 - Communication: Final Sermon |
Background of Professor:Professor John Fallahee is a 2005 graduate of The Master's Seminary and served on staff with John MacArthur at Grace Community Church. He later served at Logos in Bellingham, WA from 2005 to 2008. While at Logos, John pioneered their online training videos for Logos 3. You may have tried some of them out. ( Click Here) Additionally, John traveled 120 nights a year as a conference speaker and trainer for pastors, seminaries, and individuals in the church. On the road, john has trained up pastors like John Piper, Erwin Lutzer, Mark Dever, ministry leaders like Kay Arthur. Additionally, he has trained students in Ph.D. and D.Min. programs like Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Illinois or The Master’s Seminary in California, or on the road with RV Bible Study Bus in local churches. John has been teaching his customized Logos Bible Software couse to students at the accredited schools of Tennessee Temple University and Temple Baptist Seminary since 2004 as an adjunct faculty.
