5 of 5 Lexicons, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias March 11, 2014
Reviewer: Willie Dominguez from Dallas, TX United States
I have not yet purchased my Logos Software.  This video was exactly what I needed to determine which essential lexicons, dictionaries, and encyclopedias I should add to my initial Logos base package order.  This was my first LearnLogos purchase and I was extremely satisfied and will purchase much more training in the future.

5 of 5 ditto what everyone else said... July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Anita Van Hal from Beulah, ND United States
I participated in the free webinar in the next "Mastering Your Library Series" last night...two hours packed full of information!  I'm not new to Logos but I am relatively new to Logos 4 and for several months it just seemed impossible to learn other than some rudimentary functions.  These webinars plus the training CDs have me lightyears ahead of where I was just a few weeks ago!  I am not exaggerating when I say that the way John goes through all these resources...it saves me time AND money!  I do not need to purchase much more expensive training resources.  For less than $5 I know which resources I will need and those I can do without...he's even helped me to find resources I already own in my scholar's edition that I didn't realize I had!  The personal book resource is worth the $5...the training that goes along with it...priceless!  Thank you John, for not only the training, but the way you motivate us to dig deeper into the Word!  Your enthusiasm is contagious!

5 of 5 Cannot wait for the next webinar in this series! July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Philana from CA
Lexicons, Bible Dictionaries, and Bible Encyclopedias are some of the more expensive resources a student of Scripture can add to their libraries. John does a fantastic job in this webinar showing how to use these resources in more ways than just the obvious ones. He shows you how to do things in seconds that were just plain impossible. I have been using Logos for 9 years and I still learned things I didn't know. Cannot wait for the next webinar in this series!

5 of 5 This was a choice overview July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Susan from FL
This was a choice overview of many lexicons, word study dictionaries, bible dictionaries, and encyclopedias.  We looked at a number of introductory dictionaries: Enhanced Strong's, New Strong's Dictionary, Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary, Mounce's Resource.  Then we had an overview of concise resources, in-depth resources, and theological lexicons. We also went over creating collections, prioritization, and search strategies.  What a fantastic webinar!

5 of 5 WOW! July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Loys from TX
WOW, John has mastered the Logos Library and leads a great discussion of over 60 resources of lexicons, dictionaries, and encyclopedias to enhance your study.  Again you do not need to know the original language to get the benefit of these resources which John gives in a logical step by step process.  The personal book included in this webinar will give you all the links right inside the Logos program which speeds up the learning curve of Logos, especially the search links which is a very powerful tool of Logos.

5 of 5 This training clearly is above any training anywhe July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Matthew from KY
There are times when we think we know enough. Talking about Lexicons, Dictionaries, and Encyclopedias are one of those times. If we own the resource it is available and we think it is enough. This training clearly is above any training anywhere for this subject and Logos Bible Software 4. LearnLogos produced a webinar that taught us how to use Logos Bible Software 4 specifically with our reference books. I never thought to prioritize by conciseness to in-depth. One should be seeking to get the personal book this webinar is based on and that comes when you purchase the webinar. The small fee LearnLogos charges are a very small price to pay for this training; for there is none like it anywhere.

5 of 5 You won’t find a better primer! July 24, 2012
Reviewer: Orlando from TX
Whether you’re a pastor, seminary student or anyone who seriously desires to exegete the Word of God; you won’t find a better primer, than this webinar, that shows you how to use Logos 4 more effectively for fast, easy and accurate original language research.

This webinar will cut your research time exponentially; and the personal book that comes with the webinar— is such a superlative bonus— that I rate this webinar a 10+ (with 10 being the highest rating).

If you’re a serious Bible student, you’ve got to have this webinar to incisively enhance your research skills.
